1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files the website stores on your device. We also use similar
technologies (such as the browser's localStorage); on this page the term "cookies"
covers them all.

Necessary for the website to work; they do not require consent:

Anonymous cookieless statistics (always active)
We use Umami, a self-hosted analytics tool that uses no cookies and collects no personal data: data is aggregated and anonymous (pages visited, country, device type), with no identifiers and no cross-site tracking. For this reason it does not require consent (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
We use Google Analytics 4 for website usage statistics: it is loaded only if
you have given consent through the banner. Without consent, no request is sent to
Google servers. Cookies set by GA4 (prefix _ga) last up to 13 months.
We do not use advertising or profiling cookies.
3. Managing your consent
On your first visit, the banner lets you accept or reject non-technical cookies, with equal prominence. You can change your mind at any time:
- by deleting cookies from your browser settings (the banner will reappear);
- or by writing to info@abdullsafarikenya.com.
Rejecting non-technical cookies does not limit your browsing in any way.
4. Third-party services
The website is hosted on Vercel; images and content are served by the same infrastructure.
Deposit payments take place on a checkout page provided by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.: once you get there, Stripe sets technical and fraud-prevention cookies on its own domain, needed to complete the transaction securely. They are governed by Stripe's cookie policy and do not depend on the consent collected on this website. Until you start a payment, no Stripe cookie is set.
Any other third-party services that set cookies will be listed on this page before they are activated.
